However, it was then that its commander was nicknamed the Desert Fox. At the same time, however, from the very beginning, DAK was troubled by supply problems, which had a negative impact on its ability to conduct offensive actions. It was built on the basis of the Tatra T-72 truck chassis. Tatra OA vz.30 featured a three-axle undercarriage with a hull protected by armor plates up to 5.5 mm thick. The armament was placed in a rotating turret at the top of the fuselage and in the front - at the driver's seat. After the collapse of Czechoslovakia, vehicles of this type were used by Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and - perhaps - Germany.
