Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Choroszy Modelbud Šifra proizvoda: CHOV7204 Težina 0.12 kg Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 27.3.2017 Tagovi Jeffery-Poplavko Jeffery-Popławko is a Russian armored car from the First World War. The first prototypes of the car in 1916 - in the same year, mass production started, during which about 30 examples of this vehicle were produced. The cart was 4.52 meters long and 2 meters wide. The drive was provided by a single engine with a capacity of 4.7 liters and power of 32 HP . The armament consisted of two 7.62 mm Maxim machine guns. The Jeffery-Popławko car was developed by an officer of the tsarist army, a staff captain named Popławko, who used the chassis of the American Jeffery truck for this car. The vehicle was characterized by excellent conditions for off-road driving, among others thanks to the use of all-wheel drive (4x4). It is assumed that it was one of the first or the first armored car intended for free off-road driving. The vehicle entered production very shortly after the field tests, and in January 1917 another batch of this successful vehicle with improved armor was ordered. However, the outbreak of the revolution: first in February and then in October, shattered these plans. It is worth adding that two Jeffery-Popławko cars were definitely captured by the Polish army during the Polish-Bolshevik war of 1919-1921. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

The Afrika Korps was formed in February 1941, as a result of the painful defeats suffered by the Italian army during the battles with the British in Africa at the turn of 1940/1941. His main task was to come to the aid of the Italian ally and stop the advance of British troops in Libya. The commander of the unit was a general, and later a field marshal, Erwin Rommel. Initially, the DAK consisted of only the 5th Light Division (later transformed into the 21st Armored Division), in May 1941 it was joined by the 15th Armored Division, and at the end of 1941 - the 90th Light Division. It is worth adding that already in the middle of 1941 the Panzergruppe Afrika was founded, headed by Erwin Rommel, and it was joined by Afrika Korps. Despite the defensive tasks, the DAK (or more broadly the Panzergruppe Afrika) very quickly after landing - on the initiative of its commander - went into strictly offensive operations, inflicting a series of defeats in the desert on the British in 1941-1942. However, it was then that its commander was nicknamed the Desert Fox. At the same time, however, from the very beginning, DAK was troubled by supply problems, which had a negative impact on its ability to conduct offensive actions. He suffered a significant defeat during the Second Battle of El Alamein (October-November 1942), which forced the DAK to retreat as far as Tunisia, in which he fought until May 1943. The first tanks in the German army appeared at the end of World War I - these were the A7V machines. After the signing of the Treaty of Versailles, the German armed forces were forbidden to develop armored weapons, but the German side did not honor these restrictions and secretly developed armored weapons. However, after Adolf Hitler came to power in 1933, this development became fully official, and in 1935 the 1st Armored Division was formed. In the period 1935-1939, further divisions were formed, and their main equipment was the Pz.Kpfw cars: I, II, III and IV. A single armored division at that time was composed of a tank brigade divided into two armored regiments, a motorized infantry brigade and support units, among others: reconnaissance, artillery, anti-aircraft and sappers. It consisted of about 300 tanks in full time. It is also worth adding that the German armored forces (German: Panzerwaffe) were trained and prepared to implement the doctrine of lightning war, and not - as in many armies of the time - to support infantry activities. Therefore, emphasis was put in training "pancerniaków" on the interchangeability of functions, independence in decision-making by officers and non-commissioned officers and the best technical mastery of the tanks owned. All this resulted in great successes of German armored weapons in Poland in 1939, but especially in Western Europe in 1940. Also in the course of the fighting in North Africa - especially in the period 1941-1942 - the German armored forces turned out to be a very difficult opponent. Before the invasion of the USSR, the number of German armored divisions almost doubled, but the number of tanks in these units decreased to about 150-200 vehicles. Also in the course of the fighting on the Eastern Front - especially in 1941-1942 - the German armored forces were superior in training and organization to their Soviet opponent. However, contact with such vehicles as the T-34 or KW-1 forced the introduction of the Pz.Kpfw V and VI tanks to the line in 1942 and 1943. Growing losses on the Eastern Front, as well as lost battles - at Stalingrad or Kursk - made the German Panzerwaffe weaken. Its structure included heavy tank battalions (with 3 tank companies), and in 1943, armored grenadier divisions were established. There was also an increasingly clear advantage of the Soviet side, and from 1944 - the need to simultaneously fight the Soviet troops in the east and the Allies in the west. It is also assumed that it was then (in the years 1944-1945) that the training of the German armored forces was weaker than in the previous period and did not constitute such a significant advantage on the German side than before. The last large-scale operations of the German Panzerwaffe were the offensives in the Ardennes (1944-1945) and in Hungary (1945). Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

After the end of World War II, the French military aviation took part not only in many colonial conflicts (mainly: the war in Indochina 1946-1954 and the war in Algeria 1954-1962), but also changed rapidly. First of all, in the 1950s, it almost fully passed on to jet-powered planes, and thanks to the thriving, domestic aviation industry, it introduced many successful domestic aircraft, to mention such machines as Mirage III, Mirage F1 or Mirage 2000. At present ( more precisely - in 2017), the French Air Force numbered about 41,000 people and about 5,200 in the operating reserve. Currently, there are about 230 multi-role fighter planes in the line: Dassault Rafale and various versions of Dassault Mirage 2000. In addition, French aviation has extensive transport and early warning capabilities. In 2014, there were 27 air bases in France and a further 7 bases in overseas territories. At present, it is assumed that the French Air Force is one of the strongest in Europe. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Initially, 300 soldiers were trained for the first mission in Afghanistan, but eventually about 100 - mainly sappers, logisticians and commandos. In 2007, the contingent was significantly enlarged and received new tasks, including: cooperation with the Afghan National Army, patrol and convoy tasks, training of members of the Afghan police and assistance in the reconstruction of Afghanistan's infrastructure. It is worth adding that on August 16, 2007 there was the so-called the Nangar Chel incident that killed Afghan civilians. Over time, the Polish contingent in Afghanistan was reduced, and in 2014 it numbered around 200 soldiers. It is assumed that the experience gained during the missions in Afghanistan and Iraq led to the initiation or acceleration of many processes of technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces. Very often the author of this idea is considered to be the later field marshal Erich von Manstein. The first prototypes of such vehicles were created in 1937, and when they entered mass production, they received the designation StuG III. They were used for the first time during the French campaign in 1940. In the course of this campaign, the Bison guns (sometimes referred to as Sturmpanzer I) were also used, i.e. the 150 mm sIG guns mounted on the Panzer I chassis. During the further part of World War II, the German army introduced more and more perfect self-propelled guns on a large scale. The armored and mechanized units were equipped with vehicles such as the Wespe or the very successful Hummel, which allowed for a significant improvement in the mobility of artillery in these units. The StuG III carts were also developed and the StuG IV cart was introduced to production. At the end of the war, a small number of Sturmtiger vehicles armed with a 380 mm rocket mortar appeared. Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Airfix Šifra proizvoda: afx02108 Težina 0.15 kg Ean: 5055286671494 Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 12.4.2021 Tagovi Supermarine-Spitfire Supermarine Spitfire is probably the most famous British fighter from the Second World War. It was an all-metal machine with a low wing configuration, characteristic elliptical wings, a classic tail and a retractable landing gear. The prototype flight took place on March 5, 1936. The Spitfire proved to be the RAF's staple of the war, which continued to do well after the war, remaining in production for 10 years. The history of the Spitfire began on the drawing desk of RJ Mitchell, Supermarine's lead designer. The first machines went to RAF units in 1938, but when the Battle of Britain began in the summer of 1940, there were already 19 squadrons of modern fighters at the airfields - together with the slightly older Hurricanes of the Islands, 600 aircraft were defending. With the expansion of hostilities, the Spitfire served wherever the RAF operated in the Far East, North Africa and Italy, during the Normandy landings and fighting in France, and finally during the operation in Germany in 1945. For many Britons, he became a symbol of victory in World War II. This wonderful machine has at least a dozen production versions. The most important of them are, among others the first mass-produced Spitfire Mk.I powered by a 1030hp Rolls-Royce Merlin II engine. It was above all this machine that made such an excellent contribution to the Battle of Britain. Many versions of this model have been developed, including PR Mk IA (reconnaissance version) or PR.IG (armed reconnaissance version). Another interesting version was the Spitfire Mk.V with a Rolls-Royce Merlin 45 engine with 1440HP. Later, Merlin 50 engines were also assembled. Serial production of this version started in 1941 and was the RAF's response to the appearance of the Messerschmitt Bf-109F. Another very successful version is the Spitfire Mk.IX, powered by a Merlin 61 engine with a 4-blade propeller. It was created as an opponent to the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 and was put into production at the end of 1941. This version was modified many times and, for example, in 1944 it got a new gyro sight, an enlarged rudder or a different wing system. Another major version is the Spitfire Mk.XIV with a Rolls-Royce Griffon 61 engine and a five-bladed propeller. Serial production started in October 1943. One of the last series produced was the Mk.21 version. This version had a Griffon 61 engine, a strongly reinforced structure and sheathing, the wings were extended, increasing their flying surface. Mass production started in March 1945. Technical data (Mk.XIV version): length: 9.14m, wingspan: 11.23m, height: 3.05m, maximum speed: 717km / h, rate of climb: 18.5m / s, practical ceiling: 13,200m, range maximum: 1815 km, armament: fixed - 4 7.7mm machine guns and 2 20mm Hispano Mk II cannons, suspended - up to 225 kg of bombs. The machine was first flew in 1959, but it did not enter mass production. The propulsion was provided by three Continental J69-T9 turbojet engines with a thrust of 2.9 kN each. The machine was 5.5 meters in diameter and its height was 1.1-1.2 meters. The maximum speed was about 490 km / h. The lead designer of the Avro Canada VZ-9 Avrocar was Jack Frost - an experienced aircraft constructor who contributed significantly to the development of the successful CF-100 Canuck fighter aircraft. The project of the VZ-9 Avrocar was most likely to lead to the creation of an aircraft capable of reaching supersonic speeds and with VTOL properties, that is, capable of vertical take-off and landing. From a very early stage of work, it was also assumed that it would use the so-called Coanda effect. Initially, this secret project was funded by the Canadian government, but the US quickly became responsible for funding it. Unfortunately, in the course of the first Avro Canada tests, the VZ-9 Avrocar showed considerable instability in flight, and even worse - terrible performance compared to the assumed one. These factors led to the cancellation of the project as early as 1961. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

The brigade took its unofficial name, that is Ramcke Brigade, from the surname of its commander - Hermann Ramcke. The brigade was formed in 1942 and fought in North Africa from the very beginning, taking part in the 1st Battle of El-Alamein. In its course, the unit was surrounded, but its soldiers, despite heavy losses, managed to break through to their own lines in a daring way. In the period October-November 1942, the unit fought in the Second Battle of El-Alamein, suffering further losses, and after the defeat of the Axis states in this battle, it retreated through Tripolitania to Tunisia, where it fought in the last battles in North Africa. The capitulation of the unit takes place in May 1943. In full time, Ramcke Brigade had three parachute infantry battalions, a training battalion, an artillery battalion, an anti-tank and engineering company, as well as communications and sanitary units. Fallschirmjäger is the collective term for German airborne units from the interwar period and World War II. The first parachute unit was organized in Nazi Germany in 1936 - perhaps as a result of observations made during the Soviet maneuvers of the previous year. The first paratroopers squad was created on the initiative of Herman Göring and was assigned to the Luftwaffe. A year later (1937), the first unit of this type was subordinated to the Wehrmacht, and more precisely to the land forces. In 1938, these units were combined and expanded to form the 7th Aviation Division under the command of General Kurt Student. It consisted of parachute infantry, troops trained to transport gliders and infantry transported to the battlefield by airplanes. In the course of World War II, more Fallschirmjäger units were created, incl. in 1943, on the basis of the 7th Aviation Division, the 1st and 2nd Parachute Divisions were established. In the period 1939-1941, the German Fallschirmjäger was used for its intended purpose (e.g. during the fighting in Western Europe in 1940), but after the heavy losses suffered in the course of the fighting in Crete in 1941, the German parachute troops began to be used primarily as elite infantry units, in which role they proved to be very successful, earning the nickname "Green Devils" among the Allies. The only prototype of this car was built in the second half of 1940, but the vehicle never entered mass production. The length of the tank was 8.83 meters and a width of 3.41 meters. The drive was provided by a single V-2SN engine with a power of 850 HP. The main armament was the 85mm F-30 cannon and three 7.62mm machine guns. The KW-220 was developed at the Leningrad plant as a successor to the KW-1 heavy tank. In order to shorten the research and development work, the general assumptions of the KW-1 car were used, but also many new elements were used. First of all, there was a heavier main armament, a completely new turret, as well as a new engine with a turbocharger generating more maximum power. Also, the armor on the front of the hull and turret was thicker to 100 mm. Interestingly, the same hull and chassis were used as in the KW-1, but it was extended. The KW-220 was lost during the fighting in December 1941. Greška u opisu? Prijavi problem

Osnovne informacije Proizvođač Rye Field Model Šifra proizvoda: RFM-RM-5100 Težina 1.42 kg Ean: 4897062621535 Skala 1:35 Dodato je u katalog: 2.8.2023 Tagovi Tiger-I The Pz.Kpfw VI (Sd.Kfz.181) Tiger is a German heavy tank from World War II, one of the most famous combat vehicles of that time. The command of the German Panzerwaffe had the idea of creating a heavy tank from the beginning of the war, but the first attempts in the form of the centuries-old Neubaufahrzeuge tank turned out to be unsuccessful. In 1939 and 1940 they were conducted ineffectively, but after the clash with the T-34 and KW-1 on the eastern front, work on the new heavy tank sped up. On April 20, 1942, the prototype of the new tank, under the designation VK 4501 (H), underwent field trials in the presence of Adolf Hitler and was put into mass production shortly after. The first production versions were designated Pz.Kpfw VI Ausf.H1 (later Ausf.E). In the course of production, in the years 1942-1945, the tank was systematically modified by, for example, adding Feifell dust filters, different placement of headlights, modernization of optical equipment, changes to the commander's turret, etc. The drive was provided by a Maybach HL230 P45 12-cylinder carburetor engine with a capacity of 700 HP. The Pz.Kpfw VI tank, although it did not have such a contoured front hull as the T-34 or Pantera, was a heavily armored vehicle (frontal armor up to 120mm), armed with a very effective KwK 36 L / 56 88mm gun, which earned the reputation of being the most effective tank of the Second World War. It was a vehicle much better than the Allied M4 or Churchill and the Soviet T-34/76. He could also easily fight the IS-2 or M-26, surpassing them with the effectiveness of the main armament. On the other hand, the Pz.Kpfw VI had some disadvantages - first of all, it was extremely time-consuming to produce and had a very complicated suspension. In the later period of the war, the quality of the Tiger's armor also deteriorated, which resulted from the lack of access to the molybdenum deposits by the German economy. Despite these drawbacks, the Tiger on the battlefields proved to be a very effective weapon. He successfully fought in Tunisia, the Kursk Arch, Normandy and on the Eastern Front. Technical data: length (with a barrel): 8.45m, width: 3.7m, height: 2.93m, engine power: 700KM, weight: 56.9 t, range (on the road): 100km, maximum speed (on the road) ): 38 km / h, armament: 1 88 mm KwK 36 L / 56 gun, 3 7.92 mm MG 34 machine guns. Osnovne informacije Proizvođač CMK Šifra proizvoda: CMF72132 Težina 0.02 kg Ean: 8595593108537 Skala 1:72 Dodato je u katalog: 20.7.2010 Tagovi Type-VII-submarine German-World-War-II-Uboot-Crew The German submarine weapon (German U-Bootwaffe) turned out to be the basic weapon of the Kriegsmarine during World War II. It is estimated that during its course the Germans launched about 1130 U-boats, of which they lost about 780 ships. However, this does not change the fact that the German U-boats were able to inflict huge losses on the Allied merchant shipping in the Atlantic. As in many other navies, including the Kriegsmarine, a considerable role was attached to the training of submarine crews. Mostly (especially before 1939) volunteers, most often between 17 and 25 years old, applied for service in the U-boats. After completing the basic training, the Kriegsmarine was assigned to one of the underwater weapons schools - the first such school was established at the end of 1933. After the victory in the September campaign, German practical training of submarines took place mainly in the Baltic Sea by school U-boat flotillas. The individual training of German U-boat officers was very demanding, which took place in a total of several centers and sometimes lasted almost a year. After passing it, another training took place, consisting in harmonizing the crews with officers and non-commissioned officers. It is worth adding that the basic armament of the German submarine forces during World War II were type VII and IX U-boats, and it was only at the end of the war that a truly revolutionary type XXI ship was introduced.
